It was another success
with our menu
consists of kalua pig, kalua turkey, chicken long rice, squid luau, lomi lomi
salmon, sweet potato, rice, poki, poi, haupia and pu-pu's, everyone had a great
time. A big mahalo to all the
Hawaiian entertainers.
Portions of the Luau proceeds go to keeping the Post functioning for the entire year, but the majority will go to Post 970 Project: Lend a Helping Hand. This is a special endeavor undertaken to help veterans or their family members in need, i.e., refurbish homes of widows of veterans, purchasing clothing for homeless veterans, and provisioning of laundry and toiletry articles for our veterans at the Veterans Center for the Aging. So, please kokua and support this year's Luau Committee, they are always looking for volunteers,
